This Darwin Fill Sand is screeneed but not washed, and it makes for a versatile fine sand. Generally it is pretty clean, but can sometimes contain organic material e.g. small stones, or grass roots. It's a great cheap sand for filling in, dressing, bedding or sometimes it is used for stables or mixing (if a soft sand is desired - not a recommended sand for drainage). Its a great sand for most projects, but is most often used in plumbing or under concrete. Price is per cubic metre.
